Be a Champ! Effective Advocacy for Youth Services

Rhonda Puntney Gould and I presented on the topic of youth services advocacy at the 2014 PLA Conference in Indianapolis. After starting with advocacy efforts within one’s own organization, we discussed progressively larger platforms for advocacy, including in the community, at the state and national levels, within professional organizations, and on social media. We also discussed strategies for effectively advocating for youth services at each of these levels.
