Unprogramming for Kids & Teens: High-impact Programs, Low-impact Planning

These slides accompanied a breakout session at the 2014 Missouri Library Association Conference, given by my former colleague Angie Soetebier-McDonnell and myself. We discussed the unprogramming philosophy and its benefits in busy libraries where programming staffs’ time is at a premium, then we shared a number of school-age and teen unprograms that can be immediately adapted for any library.
