Making in the Youth Library

In March 2015, I presented an hour-long webinar for the Massachusetts Library System on the topic of making and the maker mentality in libraries serving youth. The webinar explored what constitutes a maker activity, including the philosophy behind the movement and how it fits in with library goals. Also included were 14 examples of low- and medium-tech maker activities for youth, followed by a discussion of great resources for creating dynamic maker programs in any library.
